Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund

To all of our friends in Pasadena, Altadena, and surrounding areas, please know you are in our hearts during these challenging times.

The Eaton Canyon Fire has devastated our community, burning more than 10,000 acres and destroying countless homes and buildings. Fortunately, HMRI staff, faculty, laboratories, and scientific research archives are safe.

Our beloved community is known for its strength and resilience and values caring for each other in times of need. I am confident that we will come together to restore our shared home.

The Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) has launched a Community Recovery Fund and seeded kicked off the fundraising efforts with $100,000. I've had the pleasure of working alongside PCF's Jennifer DeVoll, and I can say confidently that Jennifer and her team will steward and deploy these resources to great effect. I hope you will join me in giving to this urgent relief effort.

On behalf of the HMRI family, we wish you and your loved ones the best for well-being and safety. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the fires and our first responders working tirelessly to keep us safe across Los Angeles County.

We are in this together. May you find strength and support in our resilient community.
